Communication Skills

What we teach?

We teach improv techniques for business that build listening skills and boost emotional intelligence. We’ll also show participants how to use stories to establish rapport, explain difficult concepts and influence others. Authenticity is always a crucial part of what we teach, so participants will learn to give focus to others where appropriate; but also to speak up with their own ideas too.

Spontaneous

Participants will learn to be responsive to the moment. Central to the improv approach to communication is dealing with the reality as it is, not what we wish it was. In improvisation, listening and awareness are absolutely central. The workshop will also cover other aspects of personal impact, managing conflict, giving feedback and ‘thinking on your feet.’

Learn to communicate with flexibility, impact and authenticity to connect with anyone.

You can’t learn how to communicate in a book. You have to do it, in context. And the exercises we use in our workshops act as microcosms of the conversations participants have every day, so they are a great way to train their responses to them.

This was a very popular workshop with excellent feedback. Using the skills and ideas of improvisation, Hoopla Business showed our MBA students how to communicate persuasively with mental agility.
