Case Studies
Since 2020, Hoopla has partnered with Accenture in the UK to deliver customised communication-focused masterclasses across their New Joiner programme. Including graduate, apprentice, intern and Empowering Female Futures cohorts. We have delivered hundreds of people-skills sessions, virtually and in person, covering topics including communication, networking, and presentation skills. We have also supported Accenture’s new joiner team on storytelling skills and candidate engagement, and hosted Accenture Live, which won a RAD Award in Events and Experiential.
Aviva partnered with Hoopla to help embed its Customer Experience Principles across the business as part of a wider push to strengthen customer centricity. We designed and delivered The Customer Experience Principles Masterclass, beginning with a London roadshow and expanding into a multi-year rollout across the UK, Ireland, Canada and online. Thousands of employees took part, including the executive team. The programme achieved an average rating of 4.5/5, contributed to improved Customer Duty scores, and won a Marketing Society Award for Employee Engagement and Experience.
Box engaged Hoopla to help strengthen storytelling capability across sales enablement and the wider business. Working with the sales enablement team, including Emily Drew, Director of EMEA Sales Readiness, we delivered live training, recorded resources with worked examples, and developed a storytelling methodology Box could use internally at scale. Beyond the sales teams, we also delivered internal Speaker’s Club programmes - in person and online - to build storytelling skills across the business. The workshops achieved a 5/5 participant rating.
Grant Thornton partnered with Hoopla for their three-day global leadership conference in London. We designed a bespoke 60-minute interactive plenary, Improv Your Collaboration, for an audience of 500+ delegates. We also delivered rolling breakout sessions as part of People World, using our Act/React™ forum theatre methodology to explore psychological safety through realistic workplace scenes. By involving the audience in diagnosing behaviours and reshaping outcomes, the sessions made both collaboration and psychological safety feel vivid, practical and relevant. As Grant Thornton’s Parita Kuttappan put it, it was “a unique way of looking at the topic and communication overall.”
Neo4j partnered with Hoopla to help its sales teams communicate a complex product more clearly and confidently in customer conversations. We launched the engagement with a global virtual keynote, then rolled out interactive virtual improv workshops for account managers and customer success teams. The programme strengthened listening, agility and storytelling capabilities across customer-facing teams, while also helping build momentum and team cohesion for the year ahead. As Neo4j’s Vice President for Sales put it, “my only regret is that we didn’t book more sessions.”
For Puig’s global Neos programme, Hoopla designed a joined-up connection journey for high-potential talent across multiple touchpoints. The work included a keynote on the art and science of connection, interactive online sessions, structured peer networking formats, and an in-person experience. Built collaboratively with the client team, the result was a bespoke journey that felt fully part of the wider programme and helped participants build stronger relationships in an AI-shaped world.

Hoopla have delivered yearly sessions for Unilever’s Manufacturing Technology Leadership Programme, which brings together global leaders in London every Spring. We have designed and led interactive sessions on Courageous Conversations, Connected Collaboration and Storytelling, that have resulted in referrals across the business. We are delighted to contribute to a programme that this year won Gold for the LPI Learning Impact Award, and Gold in the Brandon Hall Leadership Excellence Awards.
